This is my second visit. McSpadden's is an honest business that gives you an estimate upfront and explains their services beforehand. You are not sitting around waiting for hours. I was in and out in 2 hours. I've also utilized their free shuttle service, which is so convenient.

Had an oil change here for full synthetic, and for not a bad price when you include the free tire rotation (about $60). Service also seemed pretty friendly. However, everyone coming in or being spoken with on the phone had *something* wrong or found to be wrong on their vehicle. I have a couple of small things on my car I know about, but only one of them was mentioned, along with an unexpected one (a supposedly cracked belt). They issued an estimate on the spot for about $350. Since I already knew about one of the issues, I had considered going back to have the work they suggested done. However, I then read disclaimers under my oil change invoice and the estimate invoice indicating they are "NOT responsible for loss or damage to vehicle and/or items in vehicle due to fire, theft, or any other cause." Yet, I'm supposed to give them permission to "operate the vehicle herein described on the street, or elsewhere for the purposes of testing." While I understand CYA and typical mechanic waivers, this is a little extreme. So if they crash your car or steal your things, it's "too bad, so sad"? Should I just trust that they'll do the right thing in those cases and not point out this little footnote, even though they specifically exclude theft? They may well do the right thing, but I would read my paperwork and use caution here.

My most recent visit was great until I realized that they didn't return my insurance after an inspection. When I called they didn't even have a copy of it (so why did they ask me for it in the first place)? Great place.They have complimentary tire rotations with oil changes. Friendly front desk staff, complimentary sodas and coffee, you can visit the gas station and Churches chicken next door while you wait. One time they didn't perform a service but when I brought it to the managers attention, she promptly made sure they did it, apologized and went above and beyond to make it right. This place is so much better than Jiffy Lube. I feel confident that they actually perform the services on their checklists.

I love this shop! It is a family owned shop and the employees are always so friendly. It is also next to the apt complex I live in. I've taken my car in for routine maintenance, emergency maintenance, state inspections, etc. Each time I leave feeling good and as if I got the best service possible not to mention I don't get upsold on anything. On one occasion I had a flat tire so they repaired it. I drove it home and when I went to leave again it was flat again. I carefully drove it back there. The guy at the counter made light of the situation with some jokes and they changed my tire. All was well. The other occasion was very simple needing my tire pressure checked. This was done at no charge and they did not seem like it was an inconvenience to them. I will continue to visit McSpaddens and I hope they continue to remain friendly and not in the upselling business.

Great service, fast completion and they took the time to educate me on the issue with my Land Rover and exactly what they would be doing to fix the problem. Very happy with the service that was provided. I think I have found my new go-to mechanic! Thank you Byron & McSpadden's Automotive!

A great overall experience. They answer the phone, remember my name, and do great work. That part might be easy, but when I had trouble with my tire order they fixed the problem no questions asked, called several times to make sure I was on schedule to come back in, and were super nice about it when I did. I would not hesitate to go back. I am sure they are a little more expensive than a chain, but worth every dollar.

These guys are awesome. My cousin was visiting and got a flat tire. They fixed it at no charge. Two days later, my wife got a flat tire. They fixed it and rotated her tires at no charge. I would never expect this and will insist on paying them in the future, but they've earned customers for life for all of our automotive needs because of their amazing customer service.

Worst experience. I take my truck in to do an oil change and they forgot to put my radiator cap back on, which I don't realize for a month later. This is after I made a 12 hour road trip, and the truck is making a funny sound. Then a few months later I realize I'm probably due for another oil change. I look at the sticker and it says I still have 2,000 miles before my next service. I knew it had to be to long so I went back into to McSpadden's to see what the last mileage was from a previous service. They told me it was 72k and here I am over 76k. Not only did they put the truck at risk with the radiator, now their messing with my engine. After no, apologetic empathy what so ever, I demanded that they make the situation right and give me a free oil change. They agreed and proceeded with the oil change. Afterwards they say I have two leaks in my trucks drive shaft, one on each end. My trucks always been kept up, and NOW it has a leak......come on. Not only that, but they put the wrong mileage on the sticker AGAIN. For this reason I won't be going back to the place, EVER. I would Not be recommending this place to anyone. I wouldn't let these guys water my grass.
